Biography

Doug developed a litigation practice to focus on injuries, employment cases, retained business, and complex litigation. He is currently admitted to all state and federal courts in Georgia, including all appellate courts. He has tried complex catastrophic workers’ compensation claims involving deaths, amputations, and lying ass insurance companies that misrepresent which employees they are responsible to cover with complex fraudulent schemes involving the State Board public insurance verification tool. He was on the trial team that recovered Dooly County’s largest verdict to date when $3.75 was awarded to the widow of a man who collided into an illegally parked tractor trailer.

Doug’s practice focuses on considering all of a client’s potential cases, including workers’ comp, third-party liability, employment, unpaid wages and overtime, and various insurance and government claims, to maximize their recovery and resolve all of the legal issues that arose from the same incident at one time. Doug also enjoys out-of-the-box litigation involving trespass, privacy torts, fraud, and civil rights statutes.
